| Dubinka is a village in the north east of Ukraine, near the Russian border. It's a haven of peace and quiet. It is also an ex-kolchoz or common farm from the soviet period. Living in Dubinka is an experience that you will not forget for a long time. People are friendly and very open. This is an ideal place for spending a week to get away from all our modern ways of living. |

Have you ever wanted to travel back in time? Let’s say 40 years back ? Here in Ukraine that looks still possible. When you get away from Kiev, where everything is as modern as the rest of Europe, in many places of the country, time just didn’t get a chance to play its role. Take for example a small city like Konotop, in the north east of the country, not far away from the Russian border.
