Facing the Lavra complex, on the islands in the middle of the river is Hydropark, a place for taking some rest and have some fun in the summer days and evenings. The place is full of little restaurants and places where you can buy food and drinks.

The biggest part of this complex though, is still complete nature. Many places are unused and simply kept clean from human occupation. You can take long walks in the woods, knowing that you are in the middle of the city, but without crossing anybody for hours, and even better, without hearing any traffic or other unnatural sounds. Bathing is without risk in most places, although many boat owners don’t look too closely if there are swimmers or divers around… Taking the sun on the borders of the river is of course completely without danger.
